《慈悲》和《我弥留之际》的叙事策略和文本建构对比

摘　　要：莫里森和福克纳是两位在不同历史时期获得过诺贝尔文学奖的著名美国作家。虽然两位作家的性别和肤色截然不同．他们均取得了举世瞩目的文学成就。通过对比莫里森的近作《慈悲》和福克纳的力作《我弥留之际》，研究两部名著的叙事策略和文本建构，发现两者有惊人的相似之处。以福克纳为代表的西方传统文学经典对莫里森创作的影响是非常深远的。Morrison and Faulkner are great American writers who won the Nobel Prize for literature in different historical periods. They both make remarkable literary achievements although Morrison is a female black writer while Faulkner is a male white writer. This paper compares the narrative strategy and textual construction in Morrison＇s A Mercy and Faulkner＇s As I Lay Dying. The similarities of narrative strategy and textual construction of the two novels discover that Faulkner, a representative of western traditional writer, has a deep influence on the literary creation of Morrison.
