摘　　要：作为世界英语文学的重要奖项,设立于1969年的布克奖及其后的曼布克奖为推动英国文学的发展做出了卓越的贡献。通过对奖项评选范围、获奖作家的国籍、原籍、种族、性别、年龄等系统的分析,本文揭示出布克奖及其后的曼布克奖所体现的浓厚"英国性"意味,以及英国人在文化上重建帝国的野心。今天英国已经被称作"文化超级大国",曼布克奖的影响力不可小觑。As one of the most famous literary prizes in the world,the Man Booker Prize,founded in 1969,has made a great contribution to the development of British literature.By analyzing the selected range,nationality,original nationality,ethnicity,gender and age of the prize winners,this paper reveals the strong'Englishness'suggested by the prize and its ambition of culturally reconstructing the empire.Today,Britain has obtained the name'Cultural Superpower',on which we should keep an open eye.
