摘 要:本文对先锋派概念的由来及其在20世纪的理论化过程做了一番历史考察,旨在阐明作为现代性产物的先锋派有着不可避免的复杂矛盾特征。首先着重探讨先锋派概念的由来,描述这个概念从政治话语领域到美学话语领域的转变,特别是这个概念随着激进艺术运动的展开而产生的深刻变形,揭示先锋派概念的悖论性和矛盾性。其次聚焦20世纪有关先锋派的理论论争,区分出三种理想类型的先锋派观念——自由的精英的、革命的大众的、反动的颓废的,同时描述和分析这些观念所处语境及其所表达的美学和政治立场的不同,凸显先锋派及其观念的多样性和矛盾性。This paper aims to expound the conceptual complexity of the avant-garde as a product of modernity by exploring its historical formation and mapping its theorization in the 20th century.One part is to focus on its historical formation.With an elaboration of its transformation from political discourse to that of the aesthetic,in particular its profound changes accompanying the flourishing of radical art movements,it is to justify the idea that the avant-garde is a paradox.Another part is to focus on its theoretical debates in the 20th century and differentiate three ideal-types of its conception—liberalist and elitist,progressive and mass,reactionary and decadent.With a critical analysis of their differing aesthetic and political views maintained in different contexts,it is to lay stress on the multiplicity and contradictoriness of the avant-garde.
