摘　　要：监控系统经历了模拟信号监控系统、计算机的多媒体监控系统、Web服务器的远程视频监控系统(网络监控系统)等三个发展阶段。网络监控系统是采用IP包的形式在网络上传输,实现了视频/音频的数字化、系统的网络化、应用的多媒体化以及管理的智能化。因此Web服务器的远程视频监控系统是未来视频监控发展的趋势。The development of monitoring system went through three stages： analog signal monitoring system,computer multimedia monitoring system and web server-based remote video monitoring system（network monitoring system）.Network monitoring system dose the transmission on the internet in the form of IP packages,and has achieved video/audio digitization,system networking,multimedia application and management intelligentization.Therefore,web-based remote video monitoring system represents the development trend of future video monitoring.
