摘　　要：修辞批评是西方修辞学重要的研究领域,在社会关系的建构中发挥着重要作用。当代西方修辞批评的显著特征是批评方法的多元化,这种多元化主要源于修辞批评的边缘性、跨学科性、普适性和歧义性。修辞批评的人文艺术性、不同的学科背景、理论与方法之间的模糊性以及人类交际的复杂化是修辞批评方法研究滞后的主要原因。Rhetorical criticism has drawn much attention from academia and played a vital role in the construction of social relations in the west.One of the striking features of contemporary rhetorical criticism is its diversity in the approaches,which is in close relation to marginality,interdisciplinarity,universality,and ambiguity of the discipline.Researches in the approaches to rhetorical criticism have lagged far behind,owing to the humanistic and artistic nature of rhetorical criticism,scholar background differences,vagueness between theory and methods,and complexity in mass communication.
