摘　　要：对什么是图书馆学理论、图书馆学理论现状如何、图书馆学理论当代困境的原因是什么以及如何加强图书馆学理论研究等图书馆学理论的基本问题做了理性的回答。This paper puts forward the author＇s understanding ＆ thinking about the basic theory of library science ,such as what＇s the theory of library science,how to evaluate progress of theoretical research of library science,what causes the predicament of the contemporary theory of library science,how to strengthen the basic theory re- search of library science,etc.
