摘　　要：随着计算机技术和网络技术的迅猛发展和普及,视频点播技术也迅速兴起。阐述了VOD系统的概念、功能及应用,重点探讨了VOD系统在图书馆的应用。With the rapid development and popularization of computer technology and network technology, VOD （Video-on-demand） technology is thereupon springing up. This paper expounds the concept, functions and applications of VOD technology, and emphatically probes into the application of VOD technology in the library.
