摘　　要：社会自律文化对经济、金融发展具有显见的重要作用,但如何对此进行实证评价一直是个难题。文章以银行发展和金融监管为切入点,通过跨国实证分析基本确认了社会自律文化在金融发展和金融制度选择方面的重要作用。实证结果表明,与较高的社会自律文化对应的是较高的银行绩效、较低的银行腐败、较高的监管效率、更加综合的业务经营方式以及更加独立和一体化的金融监管体制。The social culture of self-discipline plays an obvious part in the economic and financial development.But how to positively evaluate this remains a difficult question.This paper takes bank development and financial supervision as cutting-in point,affirms the important roles of social culture of self-discipline in financial development and financial system selection by multinational positive analysis.The results show that where there is high level of social culture of self-discipline,there are high level of bank performance,low level of bank corruption,relatively high supervision efficiency,more comprehensive business operation means and more independent and integrated financial regulatory system.
