摘　　要：建筑设计中应用传统建筑与文化符号是表达建筑文化和地域特征的直接有效方法之一。符号具有形式和意义两方面。表达意义是符号应用于建筑的目的,而符号的意义是由其具有认知特征性的形式来传达。建筑有其自身的组织规律,符号的应用需要结合建筑的本体设计,符号需要以建筑空间、形式、结构、材料等建筑本体语言形式来表达。这就需要转换,转换是符号的应用策略。Application of traditional architectural and cultural signs to architectural design is one of the direct and effective ways to present architecture and regional features. Signs consist of ~orms and meanings. To express ceriain meanings is the goal to put signs in architectural design, and the meanings are conveyed by the forms which are recognizable. As architecture has its laws of organization and the application of signs should be integrated with architectural design, signs must be presented by architectural language like space, form, structure, materials and etc. Therefore transformation is necessary as it is the strateav of sian application.
