摘　　要：依据SWOT的分析框架,当前美国研究生教育存在着研究生修业年限过长、辍学率过高等劣势,面临着非学术劳动力市场需求增大的机遇以及资金投入相对缩减的威胁。为保持领先优势,美国大学、政府和产业界三方进行分工协作共同支持美国研究生教育的改革与创新。大学、政府和产业界在提高研究生教育地位、加强政府资助以及与产业界共建科技中心等多方面产生了重要影响。Based on the SWOT analysis framework, the current graduate education in America has weaknesses like long period of study and high drop-out rate despite its huge advantages, and it is faced with both opportunities of the increasing demand of non-academic labor market and the threats of the relatively declining capital investment. To keep America＇s leading position, the Council of Graduate put forward an important document--“Path Forward： The Future of Graduate Education in the United States”, establishing a cooperation framework of universities, the government and the industry working together to support the reformation and innovation of graduate education in the United States. Universities, the government and the industry exert great influence on the aspects of improving the status of graduate education, enhancing government financial aid and building up scientific centers.
