摘　　要：弗吉尼亚·沃尔夫和多丽丝·莱辛这两位英国女作家,堪称是英国文学史上的双花奇葩。她们的很多作品表现出女性在社会和精神上受到的歧视和排斥。她们认为女性文化遭受贬低的原因是母神原型被男权社会扭曲、误读。从文本中寻找母神原型的三个变形的女神意象,探讨造成女性窘困现状的原因。重建女性文化首先应该建立女性主体意识,发挥其社会能动性,树立正确的女性价值观。Virginia Wolf and Doris Lessing are regarded as two wonders in British literary world. Many of their works expose the mental discrimination and repulsion against women by the society. They believe the distorted female culture accounts solely for the patriarchal society that intentionally distorts and misreads the prototype of Goddess. This article is to find the three dis^orted images of the Goddess and discuss the reasons that cause the embarrassment of females. The author thinks that to reconstruct the female culture should be to establish the subject consciousness of females, give play to their social dynamic role, and set up the correct values of females.
