摘 要:20世纪90年代以降,英国博士学位面临国际竞争力降低、学生毕业时间延长以及学位获得者专业技能匮乏等问题。对此,自2001年始英国设立了新制博士学位,在专业设置上不但强调学生知识的拓宽和加深,而且还为学生提供多样性技能培养;在培养模式方面重视学术研究和课程教学两条主线的相互交织、共同促进;在监督评估方面形成了相对规范的模式,逐步加强了监督力度,其学术要求也有了一定提升。新制博士学位为英国研究生教育注入了活力,也为置身于世界高等教育发展中的我国博士教育提供了借鉴:增加博士学位授予类型,适度扩大博士招生规模,严格博士学位培养质量。Since the 1990s, many problems have occurred in the education of doctoral degree in British, such as the lowering of international competitiveness, the extending of students' graduation time and the deficiency of graduates' professional skills. In order to solve these problems, the British has set up the new route doctoral degree education. Comparing with the traditional doctoral and professional doctorate, the new route doctoral degree education not only emphasizes broadening and deepening students' knowledge, but also provides students with diverse skills training in the area of specialty provision; in the training mode, the new route doctoral degree education pays more attention to interactive advancement of academic research and course teaching; as for the supervision and assessment, the new route doctoral degree education has formed a relatively standard mode, and gradually strengthened the intensity of supervision, and there is certain promotion of academic requirement to some extent. The new route doctoral degree education has not only promoted the vitality for graduate education in Britain, but also provided reference for degree system reform in China that we should increase the forms of doctoral degree awarding, appropriately enlarge the scale of doctoral enrollment, and rigorously manage the quality of doctoral degree cultivation.
