摘　　要：本文基于政治发展理论的视角,对亨廷顿政治稳定思想的主要内容进行了梳理和论述,并对其政治稳定思想的贡献和缺陷进行了评析。在此基础上,本文认为尽管亨廷顿政治稳定思想中所包含的合理成分有助于我们研究当前中国社会的政治稳定问题,但他没有很好地运用马克思主义的理论观点来分析和解决当代社会政治稳定的问题,因而对他的思想和理论必须作科学的分析和有选择的借鉴。From the perspective of political development theory, this article has made a sort-out and discussion of the main points of Huntington＇s thoughts on political stability, and then presents a review of its contributions as well as defects. The rea-sonable elements in Huntington＇s thoughts can help us to study the political stability of the current Chinese society. However, Huntington fails to make good use of the viewpoints of Marxist theory to analyze and solve contemporary social and political stabil-ity issues. Therefore, it is necessary to make a scientific analysis of his ideas and theories before any selected references.
