摘　　要：地方普通高校对推进我国高等教育大众化进程功不可没,但内外在条件约束,主要在目前高等教育体系夹缝中求生存、谋发展,唯有构建以明道力、取势力、优术力、树人力为四维内涵的生存力,地方普通高校才能真正步入生存与发展正轨。Ordinary local colleges, despite their contributions to the popularization of China＇ s higher education, are restrained by internal and external conditions. They struggle to survive and develop under the higher education system. Only by construc-ting a four - dimensional viability will these colleges actually be on the track of further development. The endeavor will involve understanding the principle, exploiting the advantage, optimizing the academic competence and cuhivating talents.
