摘　　要：《呼啸山庄》具有丰厚的内在思想意蕴。从自由理想与现实规范的二难选择视角看,凯瑟琳在爱情理想与现实婚姻、希斯克利夫在自由天性与情恨复仇之间的痛苦挣扎,不仅有力地彰显了人的个体性与社会性这一永恒冲突及其悲剧结局,而且使作品本身汇入了源远流长的西方文学传统,并因此而拥有了不朽的艺术魅力。Wuthering Heights has a rich inner connotations. But as a classic, its richness is far from being fully excavated. Liberal ideals and reality reorientations selection is one of the specification. This article expatiates from this angle, in order to grasp the new layer of the connotations of the Wuthering Heights.
