摘　　要：期刊是一个重要的情报资源,对高校教学、科研及学科建设起着重要作用。高校专业资料室要根据本系教学、科研及学科建设方向,科学合理地采购专业学术期刊。资料员应具备较高的素质,把期刊的开发和利用作为工作的重点,为教学、科研及学科建设提供更有效的信息服务。提出期刊资源开发和利用的四种主要形式,旨在为期刊工作提供借鉴。Periodical journals are important information resources in college,which play an important role in teaching,scientific researching and discipline constructions.College academic journal library should scientifically and reasonably choose and purchase specialized academic periodicals according to the department＇s direction of teaching,scientific researching and discipline constructions.The documenter should be highly qualified and take the exploitation of the periodicals as the key to effectively facilitating teaching,scientific researching and discipline constructions.Four methods of the exploitation of the periodicals were put forward.It is expected to offer some advice regarding this aspect.
