摘　　要：南通历史建筑特色鲜明,但在江海开发的新时期城市特色渐失,本文就如何继续保持古城的地域风貌提出观点如下:古城面貌的分区保护、建立在记忆的基础上的整体古城保护,在渐次演进观指导下的建筑利用,基于历史建筑、地域文化创作灵感的新建建筑创作是南通古城延续其地域风貌的可持续途径。Historical architecture has distinctive characteristics in Nantong, but these characteristics have gradually faded away during Jianghai development era. This paper proposes some key opinions based on historical town protection： using protection zones to enhance the built environment＇s characteristics, old town protection based on collective memory, building reuse based on historical evolution, and local characteristic enhancement based new architecture＇s reflection on local culture.
