摘　　要：按量付费(PPV)作为辅助性期刊采购方法,近几年迅速应用于美国大学图书馆。该文通过分析以往期刊采购的方法以及催生这种新型期刊采购模式的原因及技术环境,以美国几所大学图书馆的实践为例,研究按量付费期刊采购的工作流程及可能出现的问题,冀此对国内大学图书馆的期刊采购工作有所启示。Pay-Per-View （PPV）, as an auxiliary periodical procurement process, has been practiced in a large number of American university libraries in recent years. Based on the practices of several American academic libraries, this study tries to analyze previous modes of periodical procurement, reasons and corresponding technical environment that give rise to the new model in order to make an in-depth research on the work process of PPV as well as possible problems. It is hoped that this study will give an inspiration to the purchase work of periodicals at university libraries in China.
