摘　　要：提出并阐述了"文献发现"理论,并对"文献发现"的方法体系进行了探讨;阐述了"文献发现"理论的意义,认为"文献发现"是当代图书馆新的社会职能和核心竞争力,因此,该理论的提出将推动馆藏建设理论和图书馆职能理论研究的进一步发展;给出了一个哲社类学术文献发现的案例。The paper elaborates the theory of ＂literature found＂, and makes an exploration on its methodology and signifi- cance. The paper holds that the theory of ＂literature found＂ is a new social function and core competence of contemporary librar- ies. Moreover, the theory will promote further studies on the library collection construction and library functions. A case of ＂liter- ature found＂ is demonstrated in the paper.
