摘　　要：介绍了 BP网络的原理及在工程图符号识别中的应用 ,阐述了网络结构的确定、单元数目的选择、训练参数的选择以及样本字符图像的选取及分类。实验结果表明 BP网络可应用于工程图中的字符识别。The principle of the back propagation network(BPN) is introducod and the BPN is applied to identification of the character of the engineering drawings. How to determine the network structure and the number of the processing elements and work parameters and how to select and divide the example of character image are introduced. The results of the experiment show BPN can be applied to recognize character of engineering drawings.
