摘  要:回旋速调管是一类具有重要应用前景的高功率、高效率和高增益相干毫米波源。本文简要介绍了回旋速调管的结构和工作原理,重点评述了回旋速调管注波互作用理论的发展状况和趋势,指出了发展中存在的一些问题,并提出了自己的建议,希望能对中国回旋速调管的发展起到一定的推动作用。The latest development in the theoretical studies of the beam-wave interaction of gyroklystrons - a novel type of the most promising coherent millimeter wave sources with quite a few technical advantages, such as the high-pow- er, high-efficiency, and high-gain, was tentatively reviewed in a thought provoking way. To begin with, the operating prin- ciple and structure of the gyroklystron were introduced. Then, the discussions focused on three topics, i) the advance of the linear and nonlinear theories, and the theoretical simulations of the beam-wave interaction, ii) the long-standing problems in the theoretical studies, and iii)the development trends, and possible solutions to the theoretical problems. In addition, its potential applications were also briefly discussed.
