摘　　要：由于新生代农民工的工作性质和工作环境,这个群体更易受到疾病的困扰。他们的医疗保障状况不仅关系到这个群体的城市生活和健康,也关系到社会公平与稳定。通过调查和数据分析发现,新生代农民工的流动性特征、权利意识的缺失、对于未来风险认识不足和用工单位对责任的规避,导致新生代农民工参保状况较差。需要加强制度建设、有效监督和提升这个群体的法律意识等措施来提升新生代农民工医保的参保意识和参保率。The health of new-generation of migrant rural workers is more likely to be influenced by the nature and environ- ment of work. The status of medical insurance for the new-generation of migrant rural workers is not only related to their life quali- ty and health, but also to social equity and stability. It can be concluded that the status of medical insurance was not well, which resulted from their unstable characteristics, lack of awareness of rights, insufficient cognition on future risks and employers＇ eva- ding responsibility. It is urgent to strengthen system construction, effective supervision and enhance their awareness of legal right to improve the awareness of medical insurance of new-generation of migrant rural workers.
