摘　　要：宣统二年(1910年)的户口调查备受外国学者推崇,他们认为此次调查的质量很高。丁尼以此次调查为依据,对清末中国人口作出估计,推得人口总数约为3.3亿人。丁尼所采用的估计方法并不正确,与民政部《调查户口章程》相抵触。The 1910 census was highly praised by foreign scholars,who believed that it was in high quality.On the basis of this census,Raymond P.Tenney made an effort to estimate Chinese population of the late Qing Dynasty,which was estimated at about 330 million people.The estimation method used by Raymond P.Tenny was not right,which conflicted with the Census Regulations published by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
