零度偏离理论与英语短信语言“去元音化”

摘　　要：借用我国学者王希杰的零度偏离理论,分析英语手机短信语言中的"去元音化"现象,指出"去元音化"是英语短信语言中的另类缩略方式,是对现有缩略语的拼写方式的变异和突破,是对常规缩略法零度的偏离。如何在使用"去元音化"缩减字符数与认知之间找到平衡,有效运用零度偏离理论的方法论原则,最大限度发挥"去元音化"的作用,是我们要进一步探索的课题。Employing the theoretical framework from the field of rhetoric, the disemvoweling of English short message is analyzed. It argues that the disemvoweling is a particular abbreviation deviation in English short message. It is the breakthrough of the existing abbreviations spelling variation and deviation from conventional abbreviated method. Based on the zero and deviation theory, balancing between the reduction of the number of characters and cognitive effective of disemvoweling is the key for people to realize the disemvoweling.
