摘　　要：视频分段技术是未来信息高速公路上基于内容视频检索服务的基本和关键技术．介绍了目前几类视频分段方法的基本思想，并主要讨论了基于全图象的视频突变和渐变分段方法．Video segmentation will be the fundamental technique of the content based video retrieval service on the information highway in the future. This paper introduced several typical types of video segmentation methods at present and chiefly discussed full image based abrupt and gradual scene change detection.
