网格中GridFTP协议的传输性能研究

摘　　要：从网格环境的数据传输服务出发,分析了Globus中GridFTP协议的数据传输功能与原理。分别进行FTP协议、GridFTP协议的数据传输测试,获得FTP和GridFTP在不同传输模式和并行度下的文件传输的用时、吞吐量、数据传输总量等数据信息。实验结果表明,GridFTP在传输大数据时具有明显的优势,并且并行传输进一步提高了传输吞吐量。对于在数据网格中,探索提高海量数据传输性能的途径、推动网格技术的应用都具有实际意义。Proceeding from the data transmission service in grid, the data transmission function and principle were analyzed about GridFTP in Globus. The transmission was tested respectively in two modes, namely FTP protocol mode, GridFTP protocol command line mode. So the parameters, such as transfer time, throughput and total data size, were got on the different transport modes and parallelism of the GridFTP protocol.The experiments show that the GridFTP protocol has obvious advantages when transferring large data, and that parallel data transfer increase the transmit throughput more than the original. This research results have practical significance in exploring the access to improve performance of mass data transmission and to promote the application of grid technology.
