及物性分析与《到灯塔去》的心理现实主义描写

摘　　要：《到灯塔去》是弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫意识流小说的代表作,也是她心理现实主义创作理念在文学作品中的完美体现。本文采用功能语言学的语篇意义研究方法,对小说心理描写和场景描写片段进行及物性分析,发现显性心理过程和隐性心理过程的使用使人物心理活动对象化,物质过程的使用使景物描写和社会现实心灵化,并得出结论这种及物性过程的选择在表现小说心理现实主义理念和强化小说象征意义方面有突出表现力。To the Lighthouse is the masterpiece of Virginia Woolf＇s Stream of Consciousness-No- vel and it is perfect embodiment of her writing notion of psychological realism. In this paper, transi- tivity analysis is done in some excerpts from the novel to study her way of skillfully combining objec tive reality with subjective psychological activity, and the analysis shows that both the explicit and implicit mental processes are used to realize the psychological activity, and material processes without human participants are used to realize the scenery description and the description of social reality. It is concluded that transitivity choices are effective ways of realizing the psychological realism and the symbolic meanings of the novel.
