摘　　要："媒婆"书写是中国现代文学的常态现象,作家在否定"父母之命,媒妁之言"时,常将无德"媒婆"无情地推向了社会舆论的风口浪尖,使其成为千夫所指,万人唾骂的鞭笞对象。中国现代作家对于"媒婆"人物的艺术塑造,几乎达到了一种极度泛化的惊人程度,她们唯利是图,毁人幸福,连亲人也不放过,这种非理性情绪,十分值得我们去深思。＂ Matchmaker＂ is often read in Chinese modem literature. Writers often make the image of match- maker ridiculous that has become the object condemned by readers. This image of matchmaker in the writings of modem writers is of extreme generalization of seeking nothing but profits, destroying the happiness, and e- ven relatives dont let go. This irrational emotion is worth our consideration.
