摘　　要：图书馆作为社会经济发展过程中重要的文化设施在当代社会中所具有的作用越来越重要,是任何其它设施所不能替代的。从图书馆在建设社会主义新农村中的地位、作用、意义等方面具体阐述了图书馆所发挥出的重要作用,对图书馆在新农村建设方面如何更好地发挥作用进行了初步探讨,提出了相应建议。Library as an important cultural facility in the process of social and economic development has a more and more important role in the contemporary society, which could not be substituted by any other facilities. In this article the position, role and significance of library in the new rural construction were described, and how the library better play its important role in new rural construction was discussed and some suggestions were put forward.
