摘　　要：工作流是指全部或者部分由计算机支持或自动处理的业务过程,Internet和Intranet建构为人们提供一个理想的协同工作环境。简述了工作流的基本概念和系统的工作原理,并结合单位业务处理的实际需求,构建一个轻量级工作流管理系统-FlowBuilder。该系统按照面向对象思想对现有框架进行修改和扩充,采用可扩展标记语言(XML)技术代替了重量级的数据库来负责数据存储的任务,以打造一个轻量级的方便易扩展的系统。Workflow is a business process of computerized facilitation or automation, in whole or part. With the development of computer network, Internet and the enterprise Intranet infrastructure provide an ideal cooperation environment. A lightweight workflow management system-FlowBuilder is designed combined with company business requirement after covering the conception and theory of WFMS in a brief statement. The FlowBuilder system is lightweight and scalable which is developed by revising and expanding existing framework according to the object-oriented thought and expolring XML instead of heavyweight database for the task of storing the data.
