摘　　要：20世纪30年代中期,为解决中国农村经济所面临的严重危机,许多中国本色化的基督教团体纷纷将工作中心转向农村,投入到乡村建设运动中。在这一历史潮流的推动下,《田家半月报》应时而生,成为华北基督教农村事业促进会开展农村工作的重要举措之一。《田家半月报》属于基督教刊物,以复兴农村、服务农民为目标,通过文字的宣传力量促进着农村的重建,其栏目多样、内容丰富、文字浅显、通俗易懂,符合农村民众的识字水平。在山东济南齐鲁大学创办期间,《田家半月报》的发行量之大、发行范围之广在当时基督教文字出版界实为罕见,倍受广大读者的认可和赞扬。During Mid - 1930s, in order to solve the serious crisis of Chinese rural economy, many indigenous Christian groups shifted their work to rural areas and engaged in rural development. With such a trend, the Christian Farmer in Shandong was published and was one of the important platforms through which the North China Christian Committee for Promoting Rural Development carried out work in rural areas. As a Christian publication, the Christian Farmer aimed at reviving rural areas and serving farmers. The magazine featured diverse columns, rich content, simple and plain articles and promoted rural development. During the years after Cheeloo University was built, the Christian Farmer was much read and highly applauded, its large circulation and reach were unrivaled by other Christian publications then.
