摘　　要：陈化成殉国后,上海陈公祠建成,香火不断,每年均有祀典,地方士绅例行祭拜。陈公祠成为上海民众活动的"场域"之一,感化着上海地方官员与民众,同时感召着经元善、王韬等文人士绅。陈化成从殉国将领到城市之神,从上海到中国,由海内及海外。他被百姓口耳相传,被文人吟咏歌颂,被书籍反复记载。本文主要叙述陈化成战死后,被纪念、歌颂、神化的过程以及陈公祠建立对上海地方信仰、区域社会的影响。After Chen Huacheng died for the country,the ancestral temple of Chen was worshipped by local gentries and other people.Mr.Chen was widely read as the as the God of a city both in Shanghai and in China,at home and abroad.This paper mainly discusses how Chen was memorized,eulogized and deified and the influence of the temple upon the belief and local society of Shanghai.
