摘　　要：如果将全球页岩气勘探开发比喻成一场革命，那么，美国无疑是这场革命的领导者。通过纵观美国页岩气开发历史，总结美国之所以能够在页岩气开采方面称霸世界，其主要得益于美国联邦政府政策上的支持，页岩气开采技术的创新突破和国家对中、小企业实行开放政策等5个因素。笔者称这种独具优势的页岩气开发模式为“美国式”页岩气开发。作为同样拥有丰富页岩气资源但开发还处于初步阶段的中国来说，实行“拿来”主义已经迫在眉睫。Global shale gas exploration and development is likened to a revolution, then the United States is undoubtedly the leader of the revolution, the United States successfully mined shale gas because of the following some aspects： First, the support of U.S. federal government policy. Second, the breakthrough of shale gas technology. Third is the opening policy for medium and small enterprises. This mode is called ＂American-style＂ shale gas development. We should learn from the U .S.
