影片《贝奥武夫》与史诗《贝奥武夫》中英雄形象的比较

摘　　要：《贝奥武夫》是英国古代盎格鲁撒克逊民族的英雄叙事长诗,讲述了斯堪的纳维亚的英雄贝奥武夫的英勇事迹。而以该史诗为蓝本改编而成的电影《贝奥武夫》故事情节却有了很大的改动,将原来史诗中各个孤立的事件用一个共同线索"诱惑"进行了相互关联。但无论是史诗中的贝奥武夫还是电影中的贝奥武夫,都在危险与困境面前表现出了大无畏的英雄气概。然而,两者也有着很大的差别,史诗中的贝奥武夫被描述成一位完美无暇的神性英雄,而电影中的贝奥武夫则是一个有血有肉的充满人性的不完美的英雄形象。Beowulf is the greatest national epic of the Anglo-Saxons in the old English literature,which tells about the heroic deeds of the Scandinavian hero Beowulf.The movie Beowulf is adapted from the epic Beowulf,but there are many alterations in the plot.In the epic Beowulf,many incidents are isolated and independent of each other,while in the movie Beowulf,a central clue of＂temptation＂is utilized to correlate the several independent incidents together.Both in the epic and in the movie,the hero Beowulf faces risks and difficulties with great valiance and exhibits strong heroic spirit.Nevertheless,there is difference between the two heroes：the epic hero is depicted as a perfect hero with divinity,while the movie hero is described as an imperfect hero true to life,with many traits of humanity.
