摘　　要：台湾省 1 999年 9月 2 1日集集大地震之后的两个月 ,出版了一本地震通俗读物——“变脸的大地”。扼要介绍了台湾地区的板块构造环境、震中区构造以及破坏情况。此书对民众和专业人士皆有裨益。本文将予评介。A popular reading book'the face Changed Ground'was published two months after the Jiji earthquaeke on Sep.21,1999 in Taiwan province.The plate tectonic enviroment of Taiwan Region,the tectonic of the epicenter area as well as the hazard of the epicenter area are introduced in this book breifly.This book is benefit both in popular and experts.A book review will be given in this paper.
