摘 要:《大话西游》、《西游降魔篇》可以分别被视为20世纪90年代和21世纪初中国社会意识形态和大众心理的镜像。作为20世纪90年代最引人注目的文化现象之一,《大话西游》引发了一场从语言表达方式到价值取向上的话语革命。它的影响渗透到大众的日常生活,改变了一代人的思维方式、心灵结构、生活态度。而20年后出现的《西游降魔篇》,则是一场在《大话西游》解构后的废墟上试图重建社会道德、理想、信念、信仰的努力,原先在《大话西游》中被拆解的价值,在此片中又被重新确认其意义。从《西游降魔篇》到《大话西游》在价值取向上的这种反转,极富象征性地体现出近20年来中国社会心态由解构到建构,由颠覆到重建,由价值虚无到价值期待的变化。A Chinese Odyssey and Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons might be seen as the mirror image of China's social ideology and mass psychology in the 1990s and 2010s respectively. As one of the most renowned cultural event in the 1990s, A Chinese Odyssey triggered a revolution in both the ways of expression and value orientation. It has had a penetrating influence on people's daily life and changed a whole generation 's way of thinking, their spiritual structure, and attitudes toward life. Journey to the West : Conquering the Demons, which was produced 20 years later, tries instead to reconstruct moral values and spiritual belief on the ruins that A Chinese Odyssey has made. The values deconstructed in A Chinese Odyssey have been reaffirmed in this movie. The reversal of value orientation in the two films vividly mirrors the evolution of China's social psychology in the recent 20 years from deconstruction to construction, from subversion to reconstruction, and from nihilism to a renewed interest in faith.
