摘　　要：北平研究院作为民国时期最重要的综合性学术机构之一,其"会员制度"与中央研究院的"院士制度"一同构成了中国现代学术体制的重要组成部分。该文对1948年北平研究院第一届90名"会员"的产生过程及会员的年龄、籍贯、学历、任职、去向等情况进行分析,并与中央研究院第一届"院士"进行比较。通过对民国时期学术精英群体的微观社会学考察,理解中国现代学术评议体系的建立与完善之重要意义,并体察社会使命、学术自由在科学研究中的价值。The＂membership system＂of Academy of Peiping,which is the one of the most important comprehensive scientific academic research organizations during the period of the Republic of China,is an important part of the members system in modern China together with the＂academician system＂of Academia Sinica.This paper analyzes the process of the first election of fellows of the Academy of Peiping in 1948,and analyzes the fellows＇attributes in the aspects of age,domicile place,record of formal schooling,office performance,fate,and compares those with that of the first members of Academia Sinica.Through a sociological looking at the academic elite group in the Republic of China,we can understand the significance of the establishment and perfection of the system of academic assessment in modern China,and understand the value of the social mission and academic freedom in scientific research.
