摘　　要：1986年以前,美、日、荷三国为主进行着瓜分世界彩色市场的竞争.这场竞争是很激烈的,包括了政治、经济和技术各方面.最后,日本占了上风.近年来由于法国和南韩的彩电工业异军突起,因此形成以日本为主,荷、法和南韩各占一部分市场的局面.The main developments and drawbacks of the large screen Color Picture Tube, the possibility of the competition between full color active-matrix liquid crystal display and CPT, the present condition of CPT projection displays and liquid crystal light valve projectors for HDTV are introduced in this paper. Briefly, the CPT will be faced competition from several different displays, perhaps it will take long time to confirm which one is suitable for HDTV.
