摘　　要：胡同是构成古都北京传统空间的骨架，是老北京文化的重要组成部分。关于胡同的历史、文化、空间形态等已有诸多研究，但对于古代北京的胡同管理却鲜有涉及。本文从胡同的功能属性出发，指出古代北京胡同的封闭属性，并基于此探究古代北京胡同的管理背景，这对于丰富胡同的文化内涵，实现对胡同这一特殊历史文化遗产的科学管理等具有重要的现实意义。Hutong constitutes the basic skeleton of the neighborhood in Beijing＇s old city. There have been numerous studies on the history, culture, and spatial pattern of Hutong, but little on the governance of Hutong in ancient Beijing. Starting from the functional property of Hutong, this paper points out the closed property of Hutong, and based on this, makes further exploration on the background of Hutong governance in ancient Beijing. This study has important practical significance on enriching the cultural connotation of Hutong and realizing the scientific management of Hutong as a special historic and cultural heritage.
