文学研究中的“灰姑娘”——《文人传记导论》评介

摘　　要：在英国，文人传记历史悠久，新作迭出，但是对文人传记的研究却不多。《文人传记导论》内容详实、例证典型，是新近出版的一部文人传记研究力作。该书的研究涉及文人传记的诸多方面，具有典型性、创新性等鲜明特征；书中对比较传记研究等传记理论层面的分析探讨也可圈可点，富有启发性。本文分析评介该书的主要内容以及撰写特色。In Great Britain, literary biography has a long history and numerous new works come out each and every year whereas the study of literary biography is relatively insufficient. Literary Biography is a late masterpiece with detailed content and typical examples. Its study range covers nearly all the hot topics so far in this field and highlights biographical theory as well, such as comparative biographical study, which is original and thought-provoking. This paper comments on this book and analyzes its characteristics.
