摘　　要：南海九段线法律性质的界定,对于实现中国在南海的权利主张,有着至关重要的意义。而要准确界定九段线的法律性质,不能单从法律角度就事论事,而应当综合考虑相关的法律和政治因素,即国际法因素、南海周边国家的正当利益诉求和区域外国家正当的利益诉求。基于上述考虑,九段线的法律性质应界定为:它既是一条岛屿归属线,又是一条历史性水域线。The determination of the legal nature of the Nine--section Line of South China Sea is ot great significance for China to exert its power there. While the determination can＇t be finished from legal perspective, hut take into account all relevant laws and political factors, including international law, the rightful interests of the neighbouring countries and other countries in the world. Therefore, the legal nature of it is a islands ownership line and historical waters line.
