摘 要:流媒体应用的迅速发展,以及各种无线设备的应用提升了对视频转码的需求。传统转码方案依赖单一服务器,存在效率低和单点依赖问题。设计一种分布式流媒体计算框架,并基于该框架实现了分布式转码系统。该系统具有高转码效率、鲁棒性高的特点。同时,提出面向转码的负载均衡方案有效降低了转码的处理时间。测试数据表明通过该系统转码流媒体,处理时间可降低70%。Fast development of video streaming and the applications of various wireless devices increase the demand in video transcoding. Traditional video transcoding solution relies on single server, which has low efficiency and single-node-dependency problems. We design a distributed video streaming computing framework, and implement a distributed transcoding system based on the framework. This system has the feature of high transcoding efficiency and robustness. At the same time, we also present a transcoding-oriented load balance strategy which effectively reduces the transcoding time. Testing data shows that the distributed transcoding system can reduce the transeoding time for streaming media by 70%.
