摘　　要：与钻石一样红、兰宝石,也是世人所钟爱的名贵宝石,因其色彩绚丽多样、产地地质条件各异,分别产出了许多质地不同又别具特色的各种名贵红、兰宝石。文章介绍了世界上有关各种名贵红、兰宝石的神奇传说,和各种红、兰宝石的结构特征及其在世界上有名的红、兰宝石产地。Like the diamond, the ruby and sapphire have also been considered as the precious gems cherished by the people. The different geological conditions of their origin has produced the ruby & sapphire with gorgeous colors and different qualities & features. The paper also has introduced a few mystical legends about the world famous rubies & sapphires and their different texures & characteristics and origin.
