摘　　要：日本对斐济的政府开发援助是基于双方权力和利益的交换。战略安全、政治以及经济等方面的利益驱使援助国日本向斐济提供大量援助,而作为受援国的斐济也对日本所提供的援助有所需求并能够付出各种权力资源与之进行交换,双方在这种交换关系中获得了收益,因而两国之间的援助关系得以长期稳定地存在。This paper explores the nature and characteristics of the Official Development Assistance to Fiji by Japan from the perspective of Social Exchange Theory.The thesis holds the view that the Official Development Assistance to Fiji by Japan is based on the bilateral exchange of power and interests.The benefits from strategic security,politics and economy and so on drive the donor country---Japan to offer large amounts of assistance to Fiji,and on the other hand,Fiji,as a beneficiary country,will offer all kinds of power sources as an exchange.As a result,both sides achieve a win-win situation as well as a long-term and stable aid relationship from the exchange.
