摘　　要：本文从美国国家认同的宗教边界、文明冲突范式、社会舆论和外交政策四个方面,分析探讨了影响美国穆斯林社会整合的制约因素,指出宗教少数群体的社会整合不仅需要少数群体采纳合适的文化涵化战略,而且主流社会也应作出调整以促进少数群体的社会整合。This thesis conducts an analysis of the barriers which have had a negative impact on the social inte- gration of American Muslims. These barriers include the traditional religious definition within the American national identity, the perceived conflict of civilizations, social sentiments and the foreign policy. The thesis concludes that the social integration of religious minorities necessitates not only the proper acculturation strategy adopted by reli- gious minorities but also the mainstream＇ s accommodation of religious minorities in order to promote the social inte- gration of those religious minorities.
