摘　　要：高等教育区域化发展已成为国内外学术研究热点。国内有关高等教育区域化发展研究起步晚,但在概念、理论和应用方面都取得了显著成就且潜力巨大,特点概括起来有"八多八少";国外研究起步早,理论创新多,实证研究质量高,对我国具有重要借鉴意义。未来我国高等教育区域化发展研究至少有两点可以期待:一是研究方法日趋成熟;二是大学与区域社会契合发展的研究将日益热烈。Regional development of higher education has become a national and international academic research focus.Chinese regional higher education research started late,but in concepts,theories and applications have made significant achievements and with great potential,it can be summed up as ＂eight more＂ and ＂eight little＂ ,many international high quality theoretical innovation and empirical study are important reference for our country.On our regional development of higher edcuation research,we can look forward to at least two points：one is the methods of research become mature gradually, the other is the research of university and regional society harmonious development will be heating up.
