摘　　要：西方国家的公共行政研究经历了几百年的历程,在这一过程中,不同地域的国家显现出不同的发展路径和研究取向。文章认为,在以法德为代表的欧洲大陆国家,早期的公共行政研究与行政法紧密结合,至今未能摆脱法律学的影响,体现出国家主义的价值取向和自我改革的特征。而英美国家的公共行政研究则显现出管理主义的倾向,同时具有较明显的比较研究的特征和趋势。Western countries have several hundred years of experience in studying public administration. During this process, the countries of different regions have had different development paths and research orientations. Early studies on public administration in continental European countries such as France and Germany were closely linked to administrative law, but they have so far failed to rid themselves of the influence of jurispru- dence and have reflected the values of nationalism and self - reform characteristics. While public administration studies in Anglo - American countries display managerialism trends, they simultaneously have obvious compara- tive study features.
