摘　　要：大都市城市文化与公共图书馆有着密不可分的联系,公共图书馆在城市文化塑造中扮演着至关重要的角色。论文通过总结金陵图书馆在南京城市文化塑造过程中的具体实践,阐述了公共图书馆在城市文化塑造中的角色与定位,并提出了与政府层面积极有效的沟通和面向社会的多元合作,全媒体时代新技术、新方式和新创意的灵活运用等新的思考。Metropolitan city culture and public libraries are inextricably linked. Public libraries play a vital role in the shaping of the city culture. By summarizing the Jinling Library＇s concrete practice in the shaping of Nanjing city culture, this paper expounds the public li- brary＇s role and position in the shaping of city culture, and puts forward the new thinkings, such as effective and positive communication with the grovernment level, diversified cooperation with the society, flexibly using the new teehnoloav, methods and ideas of all media era. etc.
