摘　　要：本文界定了西文善本的收藏范围和标准以及西文善本的价值;介绍北京大学图书馆馆藏西文善本的来源、数量、种类、内容和重要性;比较国内外图书馆西文善本的保存现状,建议国内图书馆应尽早采取有效措施,加强西文善本的保护和修复。Defining collection scope and standard of western rare books. Introducing about origin, amount, kind, content and importance of western rare books of Peking University Library. By comparison of preservation situation between domestic and foreign library domestic libraries should take on effective measures to increase preservation and restoration of western rare books.
