Study on Influence of Width-to-thickness Ratios on Static Performance of the Thin-wall Square Steel Tube Columns to Axial Loads

摘  要:以试件截面宽厚比为主要变化参数,对5根薄壁方钢管柱的轴压静力性能进行了试验研究,通过试验得到试件的破坏形态、荷载-压缩位移曲线以及极限承载力等数据,并采用ANSYS对其进行数值模拟计算分析,研究结果表明:(1)有限元模拟结果、试验结果与按《冷弯薄壁型钢结构技术规范》所计算的稳定极限承载力吻合良好,可以采用有限元做大量参数分析。(2)所有试件在柱脚发生局部屈曲导致试件迅速失稳破坏,宽厚比为40和60的试件的承载力较低,钢材未达到屈服强度,管壁就已经发生局部屈曲,钢材性能未得到充分发挥。(3)随着宽厚比的减小,柱的应力重分布能力增强,柱的延性性能和极限承载力得到提高,结合结构的正常使用极限状态、使用条件以及考虑经济性的要求,提出选择恰当的宽厚比限值要求。Using the width-to-thickness ratios as main parameter, the static experimental study on the axis pressure mechanical property of five thin-walled square steel tubular columns is conducted. These important data, such as the failure characteristics, the load-compression displacement curves and load-carrying capacity and so on, are obtained from experiment, and the numerical simulation analysis and extended analysis are carried out by ANSYS. The results show that: ( 1 ) the results of finite element and experiment are consistent with the stability ultimate bearing capacity calculated by cold-formed thin-wall steel structure technical specifications, the finite element can do much parameter analysis; (2) all specimens occur local bucking at the foot of columns and break fast, width-to-thickness ratios of 40 and 60 specimens' bearing capacity are so low that tube walls have occurred local buckling before steel yield strength has been achieved ; (3) with the decrease of width-to-thickness ratios, column stress redistribution ability, the ductility performance and ultimate bearing capacity of the columns are enhanced. From the structure normal use limit state, the conditions of use and economy requirements, choosing the right width-to-thickness ratios is necessary.
